The Winter Evening

As I laid on my back in the ice cold snow, he offered his mitted hand to help me to my feet. With an unintentional smile spreading across my cheeks, I accepted. Face to face, we each let out a giggle and turned to face our creations. My snow angel was considerably smaller than his, to which he didn't hesitate to comment.

We stood starring for a few moments as the cold began to tingle the tips of our noses, and the dampness of the snow began to make itself known on our backs. As the silence hung in the diamond speckled air, we each drew in a deep breath and individually relished in the mystery of God.

He reached for my hand, and held it for the first time. And we both stood standing.

Not needing to say a word.

Holy Holy

"Holy Holy over land and seas
Holy Holy over galaxies
Holy Holy over all my needs
Holy Holy over me."

Thoughts Today...

It was when God gave Jacob a new weakness, that Jacob became a new man.

"But You, O LORD, are a shield about me,
My glory, and the One who lifts my head.
I was crying to the LORD with my voice,
And He answered me from His holy mountain."

Selah.

Psalm 127

Psalm 127: 1-2

"Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain.
It is vain for you to rise up early,
To retire late,
To eat the bread of painful labors;
For He gives to His beloved even in his sleep."

Bridgette B.

I stopped by Pehrspace a few weeks back and happened to come on a night that Bridgette B. was showing her work. Needless to say, I loved it!! I bought a piece called "Pink Trees" (see side) and anxiously awaited its arrival at the end of the month. As the date approached, I received an e-mail from the manager of Pehrspace...unfortunately, during one of the live shows, someone made off with my purchase! Crushed, he graciously told me that he was already in the process of reimbursing me, as well as commissioning Bridgette to perhaps do another piece. She agreed. So, not only is she being commissioned to do another copy, but I still able to own some of her work on top of being reimbursed for it. Everybody wins!...sort of...
In the WAAAAAAY off chance that the person who stole this is reading this, just return it man.

Haha, the culprit will never hear my cry, I'm sure of it :)
Peace and Love

These make me :)
